TankMate LTE sensors connect to the low power, wide-area NB-IoT network in New Zealand. If your tank has cell phone coverage, it will most likely have access to Spark's dedicated NB-IoT network. Use this map, then filter for NB-IoT to check coverage in your location.

The R3 sensor builds on the success of the V2 model to provide accurate and affordable tank level monitoring. The fully sealed sensor unit uses a non-contact radar sensor to measure tank levels with millimeter accuracy, to ensure years of trouble free operation.

Our R3 sensors are housed inside a robust polycarbonate enclosure with an IP68 weatherproof rating to ensure it can stand up to the elements. Powered by 3xAA batteries, the sensor requires no external power and provides intelligent battery monitoring via the mobile app. 

This sensor can be used with a variety of tank types and shapes - installation requires a 30mm hole to be drilled in the tank lid / roof (at least 100mm above the water height). A single sensor can be used to monitor multiple tanks that are connected and have a common level.
